Chamber Bowl

Join us for the Chamber Bowl tournament on a February Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m., Clancy’s Village Bowl.  This tournament has been such a hit that we can hardly wait each year for February! Plan to join us for three games of 8-9-or-strike with cash prizes, door prizes, refreshments, hot dog bar, fun side games. We have a blast!  Team of 5 bowlers for only $125!  This event typically sells out, so confirm your team's reservations today! Contact your Chamber or visit this event's page for details. 

Chamber Champions Award Luncheon

An elegant luncheon to celebrate individuals who help make our Chamber and our community great. We will present the Al Rent Spirit of Muncie Award, Ambassador of the Year, Business Longevity Awards and a special Chairman's Award.  Learn more about this event or contact your Chamber.

Chamber Cup Golf Outing

Legacy Gala

The Muncie-Delaware County Chamber of Commerce Legacy Award is presented annually to an individual who has made extraordinary, sustained, and positive contributions to the Muncie-Delaware County community, and who has provided leadership in the development of programs, events, and/or new traditions that promote good will and community pride. Muncie on the Move

Muncie on the Move is a Chamber breakfast meeting every-other month beginning with February, on the first Wednesday of the month. Doors open at 6:45 a.m., program begins at 7:30 and ends at 8:30, and an amazing buffet breakfast is available throughout. See the Calendar for specific dates. Chamber members attend for only $20, $30 for non-members and walk-ins. Walk-ins are accepted, but advance reservations are preferred. Annual passes are available in December, at a cost of $120.  Program sponsors earn the right to present at the meetings, or booth space is available from ranging from $100-$500.  Email your Chamber for more information.

Jay Julian
Chief Economic Development Officer, President/CEO
Jay is a native Hoosier, born and raised in Marion, IN. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Millikin University, Decatur, IL in 1979. Jay joined the Muncie Chamber of Commerce on July 1, 2009. Julian is the former Executive Director of Development Services with City of Marion, IN. Prior to this, he was the Planning Director for the City of Anderson, IN. Jay has received awards for IACT Economic Recovery, Historic Preservation Commission Award, and Indiana Black Expo Chairman’s Award.

Erin Ailstock
Membership Director
As the Membership Director for the Chamber, Erin is responsible for membership sales and retention. She also works to develop and implement programs and opportunities that provide value to Chamber members.

Brenda Brumfield
Director of Community & Government Relations
Prior to joining the Chamber team, Brenda was a legislative aide for the Indiana House of Representatives, and a speechwriter for the House Republican caucus. Brumfield joined the Chamber staff in 1992. She worked as the Director of Advocacy until 1998 when she left to pursue other opportunities with her growing family. She rejoined the Chamber team as Director of Community & Government Relations in May of 2007. Her responsibilities include serving as a liaison between the business community and elected officials at the local, state and national level. She also plans events to allow chamber members the opportunity to interact with elected officials. She earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana State University in Terre Haute.

Nancy Norris
Human Resource Director and Executive Assistant
Born and raised in Muncie, Nancy Norris joined the Chamber of Commerce in 2006. Previously Vice President and Trust Office for Indiana Trust Co. and Vice President and Trust Officer at American National Bank, Norris earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Indiana Wesleyan University. Currently, Norris is the President of the Muncie Artist Guild, on the Board of the Altrusa Foundation, Vice President of Programs for the East Central Indiana Human Resource Association, and a member of Altrusa of Muncie.
