  • Mobile PowerStation® Producer Announces Corporate Headquarters in Muncie, Indiana

    Local government and business leaders joined officials from DD Dannar LLC today to announce a new corporate headquarters, high-tech engineering, and Mobile PowerStation® assembly facility in Muncie, Indiana. DD Dannar LLC, a producer of alternatively powered heavy equipment for the governmental sector, will create 288 new jobs and will invest as much as $4.65 million in real estate improvements, equipment, and technology over the next 4 years. The company will initially occupy 25,000 sq. ft. in the Delaware County-owned Business Center facility, located at 4620 W. Bethel Ave, Muncie, IN. Additional space will be added as the company grows.

  • Muncie Site Receives 1st Data Center Qualified Designation

    A Muncie site has earned the distinction of becoming Indiana’s first and only Data Center Qualified site, Indiana Michigan Power announced. The designation is the result of a partnership between Indiana Michigan Power and its parent company, American Electric Power.

  • Townsend Corporation Chooses Muncie for Corporate Headquarters Relocation

    The Muncie-Delaware County Economic Development Alliance announced the relocation of the Townsend Corporation Corporate Headquarters from Parker City, IN, to the 63,000 sq. ft. former Ontario Systems Building, located at 1120 W. Jackson, St. The headquarters will be occupied more than 35 employees on the Townsend executive and support staff, resulting in approximately $3 million in annual payroll. Additionally, the company plans to make nearly $1 million in improvements to the facility.

  • Structural Casting Manufacturer Expands in Delaware County

    Delaware Dynamics, LLC, a provider of die casting services, announced plans today to expand its operations here, creating up to 13 new jobs by 2015. The homegrown-Hoosier company will invest $4.9 million to renovate and equip its current 155,000 square-foot facility located at 700 South Mulberry St. in Muncie. As part of the project, Delaware Dynamics will update its software and technology for the production of a new market line of structural thin-wall die cast aluminum.

  • Automotive Supplier Expanding Again in Delaware County

    The Muncie-Delaware County Economic Development Alliance announced today that Magna Powertrain of America, Inc., an automotive components manufacturer, plans to expand its operations here, creating up to 76 new jobs by 2016.
