Opportunity Zones
The City of Muncie has had four Opportunity Zones designated and offer many opportunities for investors to assist in further building on the momentum underway. Each of these opportunities offers a unique investment opportunity.
The City of Muncie is located at the heart of the East Central Indiana region with a population of approximately 70,000. The City is home to a cluster of medical-education industries that are working together to reshape the post-industrial local economy. The community also has many leaders supporting these efforts as well.
In the central city, more than $240 million has been invested since 2010 and has contributed to a renewed Downtown.
The community has a vast variety of recreation and quality of life amenities. There is an extensive trail network and a 1,275 acre reservoir. Other amenities include Emens Auditorium, David Owsley Museum of Art, Muncie Civic Theatre, and Ball State Athletics.
